Welcome!

My name is Lynne, I am an Integrative (Couples) Counsellor and a member of the British Association for counselling and psychotherapy (BACP). I welcome couples and individuals for both short and long term counselling in my practice. As an Integrative Counsellor I use a variety of different theories, adapting to what you and your partner need. 

I offer counselling online using FaceTime or Zoom. I also see clients face-to-face from my practice in Paarl (Cape Town), South Africa where I have moved to temporarily from the UK.

I believe you are the expert of your life. However sometimes having another person who is professionally trained, to listen, and get into your shoes, and reflect back what you are saying in a non-judgemental way, can be helpful when experiencing life’s challenges and difficulties. Having time to talk about yourself, your relationship and being heard and listened to in a safe space can create awareness.  

There is no magic wand, but like a seed planted in good soil, the chances of healthy growth are maximised when the right ingredients are present. Talking to a professional who is not a friend or family member and does not talk about their stuff, unless it helps you, may bring clarity and a more satisfying reality.
