Alice | Psychotherapist
Relationship therapy Leamington Spa
Relationships form the foundation of much of our lives, but frequently one of the most important relationships we have suffers under the weight of what each individual brings from their past, and the unrealistic expectations that are portrayed in our culture and society. I can help you find a way to relate to your partner differently and perhaps more significantly, how you relate to yourself.
Relationships are hard work and can be the source of much frustration and hurt, but when functioning well, they have the potential to be life enhancing. I can help you and your partner to look deep within yourselves, to begin the healing there, that can then impact how you relate to each other.
I am a fully qualified, registered psychotherapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have trained in person-centred therapy which is based on the idea that you know your self better than anyone, but may need help to make sense of your thoughts and feelings in order to make changes to how you feel and behave.
I do not judge you or your partner, I am here to listen to you both and help you both individually and as a couple find understanding and empathy for yourselves and each other. These simple steps can be difficult to take but are the most important to changing a dsyfunctional relationship.
If you feel ready to begin, please send me a message via the send a message - button and we can have an initial chat to see if you want to work with me.
