Hello, My name is Christina, I am an Imago Relationship Therapist. I work online providing psychotherapy and counselling. I have expertise in working with couples and this is a real privilege for me. I have a passion for working with couples and I use Imago Relationship Therapy.

Imago is a theory of relating, where the couples safety, trust and connection is paramount to this approach. Using a way of communiction which is very structured to enable you as a couple to discuss the most difficult aspects of your relationship, as well as sharing positive connection. As a couple this enables you to take this way of communicting outside of the session. Encouraging a deeper connective relationship, sharing vulnerabilites, passion, creativity, love and safety.

I have an extensive background working with couples, individuals and families within health and social care. I spent 12 years years worling in substance use and addiction, which led me to work in various settings. I have worked in  Private Practice for 12 years. As well as Imago, I am also Person centred and Transactional Analysis Trained. 

I have an inclusive relational approach, listening and acknowledging ones own personal story and journey in life and I have a healthy interest and curiosity in individual life paths and how these impact on the relationship sometimes causing ruptures within the relatiohship. Providing the structure to have safe conversations that will encourage you as a couple to understand and account for differences which will support you remaining connected. I am both privilaged and humbled to be a therapist. I bring my own limitations and will own them honestly within my work.
