Danielle | Couples/Relationship Therapist
Couples and Relationship Therapy Poole
Hi, I'm Danielle, an experienced psychotherapist who is passionate about supporting people in relationships. I can offer you a dedicated space and time to focus on your relationship in order to help you be more deeply connected with your partner.
People look for relationship counselling for many reasons. There may be conflict, struggles with family members, life transitions, maybe you've grown apart and miss feeling close like you used to, or perhaps you want to set yourselves up with a solid foundation before taking the next step in your lives together.
I will work with you to make sure we are all on the same page and have shared goals around what you would like from the therapy, and we might work quite fluidly to make sure that we are open and addressing any underlying issues. For example, sometimes I will see clients individually for a couple of sessions before coming back for a shared session again, this can be dedicated time for each of you individually to go into more depth about what might be going on for you in what you are bringing to the relationship.
I am LGBTQI+ allied and neurodivergence affirming. I'm neurodivergent myself so have a pretty good idea about some of the related challenges that can show up in relationships.
Online therapy
As well as seeing clients in my purpose-built therapy room in Dorset, I also see clients online from all over the UK. I use a secure platform designed for telehealth called Doxy. This can be a really convenient way to access therapy from a place where you feel comfortable.Qualifications and registrations
