About me
I am a modern, inclusive, and supportive couples therapist, passionate about helping partners build stronger, healthier, and more fulfilling relationships. My approach is integrative, meaning I tailor each session to the unique needs of the individuals and the relationship as a whole. Whether you're facing challenges or simply want to deepen your connection, I provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space for growth.
My Approach
I blend various therapeutic techniques to create a flexible and personalized experience, including:
- Integrative Counselling – Combining different evidence-based approaches to meet your specific needs.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – Helping couples understand and reshape emotional responses.
- Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Addressing thought patterns that may be impacting your relationship.
- Mindfulness & Communication Techniques – Strengthening emotional awareness and connection.
How I Can Support You
I work with couples at all stages of their relationship, whether you're:
- Struggling with communication or feeling disconnected.
- Navigating trust issues, infidelity, or past hurts.
- Managing life transitions such as marriage, parenthood, or separation.
- Exploring intimacy, boundaries, and relationship dynamics.
- Seeking a safe space to discuss challenges unique to LGBTQ+ couples and diverse relationships.
Creating a Safe & Inclusive Space
I believe in a modern, inclusive approach to therapy, where all couples—regardless of background, gender identity, or relationship structure—are welcomed and supported. My goal is to help you and your partner build a deeper understanding of each other, improve communication, and create a relationship that feels fulfilling and secure.

Specialisations and Expertises
My Expertise & Approach
I specialize in modern, inclusive, and integrative couples therapy, helping partners navigate challenges such as communication breakdowns, trust issues, intimacy concerns, life transitions, and conflict resolution. My approach is tailored to each couple’s unique needs, blending evidence-based techniques like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based strategies.
Duration of Therapy
The length of couples therapy varies for each relationship. On average, many couples find that 12 to 20 sessions can create a significant shift. Sessions are typically held once a week, meaning therapy may last anywhere from a few months to about half a year. However, some couples may need fewer sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. Each journey is unique, and we’ll work together to find the right pace for you.
Most common issues I support people with:
Every relationship faces challenges, but with the right support, you and your partner(s) can navigate them in a healthy and constructive way. Here are the five most common relationship issues I help relationships work through, with a tailored, integrative approach to suit your unique needs.
1. Communication Breakdown
Many couples struggle with communication—whether it’s frequent arguments, feeling unheard, or avoiding difficult conversations altogether. I help partners develop:
- Active listening skills to improve understanding.
- Clear and respectful ways to express thoughts and emotions.
- Strategies to break negative communication patterns and foster healthy dialogue.
2. Trust Issues & Betrayal
Trust is the foundation of any strong relationship, but it can be shaken by past betrayals, secrecy, or insecurity. Rebuilding trust takes time, and I support clients by:
- Creating a safe space to explore the root causes of mistrust.
- Developing transparency and accountability within the relationship.
- Offering tools to heal from past hurts and strengthen emotional security.
3. Intimacy & Connection
Emotional and physical intimacy can fade over time due to stress, life transitions, or unresolved conflicts. I work with clients to:
- Reignite emotional closeness and deepen bonds.
- Explore desires, boundaries, and intimacy needs in a safe and open environment.
- Address any fears, anxieties, or past experiences affecting intimacy.
4. Life Transitions & Stress
Major life changes—such as moving in together, getting married, having children, or dealing with career shifts—can put pressure on a relationship. I help clients:
- Navigate these transitions with understanding and teamwork.
- Manage external stressors while maintaining a strong relationship.
- Adapt to new roles and expectations while keeping their connection intact.
5. Conflict Resolution & Managing Differences
Disagreements are a natural part of any relationship, but when conflicts become repetitive or escalate, they can cause lasting damage. I support clients by:
- Teaching healthy conflict resolution strategies.
- Helping partners find compromises that work for all individuals.
- Identifying and addressing recurring patterns that fuel disagreements.
No matter what challenges you and your partner(s) are facing, I offer a non-judgmental and supportive space to help you work through them. With the right tools and understanding, you can create a stronger, more fulfilling relationship together.
