Relationship Counselling Alsager
My name is Suzanne, and currently all my session are being offered via Facetime, Zoom or Skype to both individuals and couples. This enables me to work with clients from any area in the world.
I can offer you a confidential place where you can come to think and talk about yourself and your concerns, in a way that is different from talking with a loved one or friend. A place, where you are free to work through any issues or difficulties, such as anxiety, stress, depression, relationship issues, illness, or addiction to name a few.
I will listen to the way you feel and how this affects you. I will accept the way you are without judging and I will work with you to enable you to make the changes that you want to happen.
I am also a qualified supervisor and offer supervison to individuals and groups.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and on the United Kingdom Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
I have run a successful Private Practice from my home for more than 15 years and have many years experience of working as Counsellor and Clinical Lead in a Substance Misuse Agency, a G.P’s surgery and hospital in West London.
My philosophy is based upon that of Carl Rogers, pioneer of the Person-Centred Approach. I share his belief in the actualising tendency, the innate capacity of every individual to grow and develop.
I feel my life’s experiences have equipped me with an empathic understanding, which I aim to bring to my counselling work.
I have just relocated to Chesire East from Buckinghamshire and I welcome clients from all areas, as my work is currently on line.
Please feel free to contact me to book an appointment or ask any questions. Thank you, Suzanne.
Currently, all my sessions are being offered online via FaceTime, Zoom or Skype. This is your choice and I find it works well if you, the client, calls me at the agreed time.
During your first session you will be able to express the reasons for coming to counselling and look at what you would like to achieve.
Understanding it is not always easy to talk about problems & to express your feelings, I aim to bring warmth & empathy enabling you to share those things that bother you.
I will offer the first half hour of the first session free for you to see how this works.
Statement concerning the coronavirus pandemic
Corona Virus Pandemic
The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak means life has changed for us all. It may cause you to feel anxious, stressed, worried, sad, bored, lonely or frustrated.
It's important to remember it is OK to feel this way and that everyone reacts differently – for most of us, these difficult feelings will pass.
