My name is Mireille, I am a very experienced Couples counsellor having supported couples since 2003.

I work using Transactional Analysis and Imago Therapy which are an excellent ways to reestablish dialogue about any difficult issues you may experience .

Often, in conflict we experience the other as a threat, the famous sabre tooth tiger. Imago Dialogue allows us to communicate safely. I hold your process and guide you but you will be doing the hard work both in session and at home. Imago Therapy gives you the tools to express your feelings so that you can hear each other, resolve your differences and reconnect, find again the love you thought you had lost.

I will not advise you or tell you what to do but I will help you explore anything you want to bring.

Online therapy

I offer online Counselling for adults and couples. This is provided by webcam sessions on Zoom. I will also send you invitations and materials via an encrypted email system as well as provide support through what s app. I will use a VPN to further security .

When working on line , I recommend you use a private and quiet space in which to carry out the session. Water and tissues will be useful to keep at hand .

When working Face to Face , I offer a safe and confortable non judgmental space .

I have a lot of experience in supporting couples with communications issues, affairs, childhood trauma, divorce, parenting, conflicts, anger, financial conflicts.

Most common issues I support people with:

I have extensive experience of working with couples who have lived through the devastation of affairs and divorce as well as feeling lonely in the relationship or being unable to tell their partners what they are truly feeling. This in the long run erodes your relationship. Imago Dialogue and Transactional analysis will allow you to repair and begin to be each other's healers as Harville Hendrix and Helen Lakelly Hunt advocate. You will "Keep the love you found " .

Fees

For individuals :
The first session is one and a half hour long.
The initial 30 mns are free of charge so you can decide whether what I offer is for you .
The following hour is chargeable at £60 - 70 per session for individuals.
Generally 6 to 12 sessions weekly or every other week, will be needed to effect any lasting change. However , you drive this process and can decide at any time to end the process. I do ask for one last session to end the process before ending.

For Couples :
All sessions will last one and a half hour.
The initial 30 mns of the first session will be free of charge and you can decide if what I offer is for you, but the remaining hour will be chargeable at £80 per session .
Subsequent sessions will be £80 and will last one and a half hour .They will take place every other week but can be everyweek at your choice .

I do have a sliding scale for clients experiencing financial difficulties.
