Hi, I'm Alison, a trained Imago Relationship Therapist and Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist. I welcome couples and individuals for counselling in my practice in Formby near Liverpool in the UK.

As human beings, we're meant to THRIVE in relationships that LOVE, SUPPORT and HELP EACH OTHER GROW.

But my ohhhhh my. How often do we get things WRONG in our relationships? How often do our relationships become a source of ANXIETY, PAIN and DISTRESS?

I work systemically with couples for them to understand there areas of difficulties and from a solution focused approach support them to find how to improve there relationship with each other.

In couples therapy we talk about the issues you are experiencing at the moment and how these problems can be overcome. We will also explore your (individual) needs and what you want from the relationship.
