Relationship Counselling Bridlington
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. Let me tell you about myself and what I can offer to you.
As a qualified couples counsellor and a member of the BACP, I am offering One to One or online confidential Counselling services, for couples or individuals in the Yorkshire area. I am accepting, skilled at listening and supporting when it comes to you trying to identify negative emotions or behaviours that will aid positive growth and allow you move forward in life.
As it is most important for you to feel comfortable and at ease with me I am offering an initial free 30 minute assessment, so you can chat with me and decide for yourself. This assessment will highlight the areas of concern that you have and for me to hear how you would like things to progress.
More about me
I have been taught to help different people to help themselves. Within my last job as a Counselling tutor, I have been extensively trained in areas of interventions including nutrition, mental health and physical activity. A large part of the training I have done has been looking at human behaviour, the barriers, different theories and methods to the way people do the things which make them unhappy. Enabling them to move onto better, happier and healthier lives. I gained valuable experience volunteering for the Samaritans for three years, eventually becoming a mentor and trainer.
I do have dyslexia and found that this has not stopped me with my written or verbal skills. I have found that it has helped me with building trust with clients who have dyslexia, can't read or write, or any disability, it makes me human and not perfect which people can relate to.
