Vicky | Certified Imago Relationship Therapist

Exclusively Online Couples Therapy | Neurodiverse & ADHD–Non ADHD Relationships

--- Online only therapy ---

Do you feel like you’re having the same argument on repeat, but never really feeling heard?

Many couples come to therapy feeling exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in painful patterns they don’t know how to shift. You might love each other deeply and yet still feel miles apart.

I offer warm, structured, and compassionate couples therapy, online, for couples across the UK and worldwide.

I help you slow things down, understand each other more clearly, and rebuild connection in a way that actually lasts.

While neurodiverse relationships are my specialism (please scroll down the page for more information), I'm experienced in supporting all couples, with a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Communication breakdown and repetitive conflict

  • Emotional distance or disconnection

  • Trust and attachment wounds

  • Life transitions and stress

  • Rebuilding intimacy and closeness

You don’t have to be in crisis to come to therapy. Many couples simply want to feel closer and understand each other better.

How I work

I’m a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist and use Imago as a strong foundation for helping couples feel heard, safe, and emotionally connected.

Alongside this, I integrate other therapeutic approaches depending on what each couple needs. Every relationship is different, so therapy shouldn’t feel rigid or one-size-fits-all.

My style is compassionate, collaborative, and gently guiding.

I’ll help you:

  • Understand the patterns you’re stuck in

  • Learn tools to communicate safely

  • Slow down reactive cycles

  • Feel heard rather than criticised

  • Rebuild connection and teamwork

Above all, I aim to create a space where both of you feel understood, not judged.

About me

I have been a therapist for 17 years, and I am passionate about making a difference. I would say that the most common feedback I get from clients is that I am real, open, and genuine. I care about your relationship, and I feel very privileged to be part of something so incredibly important, something that can create clarity, understanding, harmony, and connection.

I’ve worked in counselling, coaching, and therapeutic settings for over 17 years and bring both professional expertise and real-life understanding into the room.

Couples often say they feel safe with me quickly, and that sessions feel grounded, practical and human.

Therapy should feel like talking to someone who truly gets it, not being analysed from a distance.

Online therapy

All of my sessions are offered online by Zoom. Many people are surprised by how quickly online therapy feels just as connected and effective as meeting in person.

Working this way means you can join from the comfort and privacy of your own home, avoid travel time, and fit support more easily around work and family life.

For couples, especially, being in your own space can help conversations feel more natural and grounded.

It also means I can work with clients across the UK and internationally, so you’re not limited by location when choosing the right therapist for you.

Specialisations and Expertises

My specialism is working with couples with different neurotypes, particuarly ADHD - non ADHD relationships

If one of you has ADHD and the other doesn’t, everyday life can feel confusing, lonely, or unequal. You may find yourselves caught in cycles of frustration, resentment, or feeling misunderstood on both sides.

This is a particular area of specialism for me.

Alongside my professional training, I’m also a late-diagnosed woman with ADHD myself. So I understand both personally and professionally how ADHD can shape communication, emotional regulation, time, memory, and relationship dynamics.

Couples often tell me it’s a relief to work with someone who genuinely understands how these differences show up day to day, not just in theory.

I have specific training in working with different neurotypes within relationships, something many couples therapists don’t receive as part of their core training.

My work helps partners move away from blame and towards understanding how each of your brains works differently, and how to meet each other in the middle.

Most common issues I support people with:

Different Neurotypes
ADHD
Comminication
Trust
Building connection
Unmet Emotional Needs
