I am a fully qualified psychotherapist and accredited member of the BACP. I am also a certified Imago couples therapist.

I work with couples who may be wanting to work on their relationship, are feeling stuck or struggling with communicating effectively. Couples therapy can help to improve and restore connection.

I will bring compassion and a non-judgemental approach to working with you both and your relationship. Together we will explore why there may be disconnection, what you need and how to get the relationship that you both really want.

When working with couples I use the Imago therapy method.  As an Imago therapist my role is to help you learn to communicate in a new way that strengthens your relationship, enabling you to feel safe to express yourself freely with your partner so that you can both feel understood. My aim is to help you make lasting positive changes to your relationship.

As a relational therapist I really believe that our relationships and experiences throughout our life shape us. We will all encounter difficulties and wounds from our past relationships. My role is to coach you as a couple to communicate in a new way that helps to heal those wounds. I am passionate about working with couples in this way because it allows you both personal growth, growing together can really strengthen and deepen your relationship.

• It is important that my way of working and experience fits with what you are bringing. If for any reason, I cannot offer sessions I will aim to make a recommendation.
• Please note that my way of working with couples is not suitable for relationships where there is any level of physical conflict or violence or where a person feels emotionally abused. In this instance I would recommend individual therapy to address how to move forward or a couples therapists with specialist experience in this area.
