Lesley | Integrative relationship and psychosexual therapist
Relationship and Psychosexual Therapy Harrogate
As an experienced relationship counsellor and psychosexual therapist I support individuals, couples, families and non-monogamous groups to help face and explore life's challenges, and to build resilience and design strategies to resolve issues and embrace hope.
My specialist areas are relational and sexual problems, trauma, grief and family conflict.
I trained with the bereavement charity Cruse, along with the relationship organisation Relate, with whom I have worked for several years as both a couples counsellor and sex therapist. I am a mental health first aider and volunteer at a charity supporting hostages and detainees and their families.
I am a member of the counselling body COSRT – the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.
I am fully insured to work with clients both in the United Kingdom and in certain countries abroad.
It takes a lot sometimes to realise we need help, or to know where to go when things feel hopeless, by visiting this website you are on the start of that journey, and I would love for us to work to get answers and find hope together.
I offer online sessions nationwide and also face-to-face counselling in North Yorkshire and Perthshire.
Online therapy
With online therapy sessions I have experience of working across several encrypted platforms - Teams, Zoom, Skype, Facetime. My preference is Zoom for its ease of use and robustness.Online sessions can offer a client the flexibility of accessing therapy without the need for travel and at a time convenient to them, possibly to help manage childcare or work commitments. It can also help long-distance partners or family members connect online in sessions.
All I ask is for you to have a reliable internet connection and to attend in a private and confidential space where you can talk openly without being interrupted.
