I'm a couples therapist based in Buckhurst Hill, Essex. I provide a safe and supportive space for the two of you to explore your difficulties and help you find a way through. An important part of couples therapy is to highlight the impact of the past on both individuals and work to separate it from the present. I can help you understand how to communicate differently, to see each other again through different lenses. I will give you tools to better express yourself and your needs and to create a healthier relationship.

Couples find that after counselling, they understand themselves and their partner better. Communication is greatly improved with partners being able to say what they need to say.

Hi, I'm Mark a counsellor who specialises in working with couples who have disconnected and wish to rediscover their emotional bond through better forms of empathic communication and achieve healthy confrontation to help de-escalate cycles of conflict where they are blaming, attacking and withdrawing from one another. My aim is work with them to reach a place where they once again feel like a team who can resolve things in a healthy way. Other issues covered include discovering each other's love language and rebuilding trust

I am a well-established and highly experienced counsellor/psychotherapist that has been working in private practice for some years.

I have undertaken extensive, advanced specialist training and qualification in working with couples.
I work with couples to help them try and understand how to better manage conflict, trust, communication and the whole host of struggles that can so often face those in a close relationship.

Specialist Couples & Relationship therapist. BACP Accredited therapist & Supervisor. Working since 2010. I feel that this work is my calling. I have experience working with a variety of couples and relationship styles. I am trained in Emotionally Focussed couples therapy (EFT).

My background: I am Igbo, African & a woman and I draw on all my experience in providing therapy to a range of couples from diverse backgrounds and orientations, communities and couples with immigrant experiences.
