I have worked as a psychotherapist since 2010 and feel that this work is my calling. I have experience working with a variety of couples and relationship styles. I am trained in Emotionally Focussed couples therapy (EFT).

My background: I am Igbo, African & a woman and I draw on all my experience in providing therapy to a range of couples from diverse backgrounds and orientations, communities and couples with immigrant experiences.

The focus of therapy using the Emotionally Focussed Therapy approach (EFT) is to assist you to be able to descalate, reach toward and connect with eachother again. We achieve this by enabling you both to recognise the negative cycle of interaction you get into, and with understanding work to create a more positive cycle of interacting with eachother.

I currently have availability and I work online, and face-to-face (in Southend, Essex and Central London - Liverpool Street (opposite the station)).

I offer a 20 minute complementary consultation for couples who may wish to consider therapy with me: this gives you the opportunity to ask queries you may have about the process so you can make an informed decision about going ahead or otherwise.

I have related experience as an occupational therapist since 2000, specialising in various fields of mental health recovery.
