Relationship Counselling Barrow-in-Furness

-- I am now providing face to face sessions and following all appropriate safety guidelines in regard to Covid-19. --

Welcome for relationship counselling and individual counselling Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.

I have provided counselling and psychotherapy services to couples, individuals and groups since 2006. I also work as a supervisor trainer and mediator. I am fully accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and fully insured.

I welcome enquiries from individuals and couples regardless of social background, ethnicity, sexual orientation, sexual identity, religious or political views.

I believe in the intrinsic ability of all individuals to create a contented life for themselves. With this in mind I aim to support and facilitate you to achieve your goals, both individually and as a couple.

About me

In the year 2000 I went through a period of depression and went to see a counsellor. I was so impressed with how effective the counsellor was that I decided to train so I could assist others.

If you wish to book an appointment, ask any questions or learn more, then please send me a message. I will answer any questions you have about myself, counselling and psychotherapy. This initial contact will enable us both to decide if I am the right counsellor for you and if we want to work together.

Sessions take place in a private, comfortable room in the centre of Barrow. I welcome clients from Barrow-in-Furness, Dalton-in-Furness, Ulverston and surrounding areas.

If you would like to know more or book an appointment, please send me a message.

Online therapy

Zoom and Skype and walking sessions are available.

Face to face sessions take place in a small hall with plenty of room to sit far apart. All surfaces are hard plastic, metal or wood and are easily cleaned and disinfected. Hand sanitizer is provided and masks can be worn if this is your preference.

I received my Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling & Psychotherapy from the Lakeland Institute in September 2006 and have been operating a successful, private practice since that time.

The modality I have trained in most is Transactional Analysis, though in my work I also frequently use CBT, EFT/Tapping, NLP, Family Constellations and others.

I am insured with the Psychologist's Protection Society.
