As a dedicated therapist, I combine extensive experience with a focus on various areas to help clients navigate through difficult life experiences. I have honed my skills and gained profound insights into a wide range of challenges, allowing me to provide compassionate support to individuals.
My Expertise in challenging life situations: bereavement, depression, emotional disturbance, family conflict, self esteem, sexual abuse, stress, trauma and PTSD, relationship issues, anxiety, domestic violence, etc.
Qualifications and registrations
I hold a BSc in Psychology from Brazil and I am a qualified Psychotherapist & Counsellor with extensive training in various therapeutic approaches, research, reflective practice, and personal therapy. Post-qualification training in Couples and Relationships therapy at the Gestalt Centre.
Throughout my career, I have worked with adults in public mental health/community settings in the UK. I have gained valuable experience working within the NHS, serving as a Psychotherapist & Counsellor at LAWRS, as well as in private practice.
I am registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS). I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
