Relationship Counselling Stroud

As a Relate trained, accredited and fully qualified Couples Counsellor I specialise in all aspects of relationship difficulties. More recently I have completed a two year post-graduate Diploma (Level 7) with the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology (CICS) and have qualified as a psychosexual psychotherapist (sex therapist). 

I can support couples, thrupples and other configurations of polycules as well as individuals to work through various relationship issues, including communication difficulties and breakdown, affairs and infidelity, repetitive negative relationship patterns, life changes that impact relationship (birth of baby, menopause, retirement, death, illness), co-dependency, opening / closing a relationship, sexual difficulties (erectile difficulties (ED), ejactulatory difficulties (PE), vulvadynia, vaginismus, hypo and hyper sexual experiences, compulsive sexual behaviours, mis-matched libido, asexuality, kink, etc.) My area of specialist interest is neurodivergence and how that plays out within the relational and sexual context (ASD, ADHD and AuDHD) 

 
I will tailor the sessions around what you need: frequency of sessions and your time constraints. Regardless of our time together there is always a focus and always practical tools that we use together in the sessions. We make the time we have together 'working time'.

I provide a safe, neutral space in a dedicated clinical setting to hear you and really listen as you share your feelings, hopes and challenges as we work together on making practical changes that will affect your relationship dynamics and make for healthier, more congruent couple / thrupple relationship dynamics.

My approach is directive and dynamic and includes a number of modalities I have qualified in (relational, psychodynamic, systemic, transactional and cognitive interventions). I have an undergraduate degree (BA hons) in Integrative counselling and a master's degree (MA) in Advanced clinical practice as well as a post-graduate diploma in clincial sexology PgDip a Dip in Relationship counselling (Relate) and a four year Diploma in Therapeutic integrative counselling. I am a fully regulated member of the UKCP, BACP and COSRT. 

My practice is based in Stroud, within easy reach of Slad, Painswick, Ebley, Brimscombe and surrounding areas. There is plenty of parking behind the building on the London road carpark. The entrance and building offer discreet access to my premisis.
