Relationship Counselling Hoddesdon - London

My name is Julia. I am a professionally certified Couples Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Life Coach. I set up my counselling practice to offer my clients a little beacon of light that helps them navigate through the darkness.

When you and your partner are finding things difficult, my counselling provides a safe space for you both to explore whatever is on your mind, understand each other's perspectives, and improve your communication.

All couples experience feelings of discontent, stress, frustration, restlessness and guilt at some point in their relationship. Whether it’s communication difficulties, coping with infidelity, intimacy issues, or adjusting to significant life changes, sometimes you reach a point where everything feels a bit too much.

It’s always difficult to recognise when you need a little extra help, but I want to congratulate you on taking the most important first step: reaching out for support.

My Approach:

My approach to counselling is integrative, drawing on a range of different therapeutic techniques, including person-centred therapy, Gestalt, neuro-linguistic programming, and life coaching. I vary my approach based on my clients' needs because the human mind is not one-size-fits-all. From my experience as a counsellor, I have learned that every couple faces their own unique set of challenges and I believe taking a personalised approach is the best way to overcome these obstacles.

In my sessions, I strive to create a safe, judgement-free environment for you to explore your feelings and reach a deeper understanding of what may be concerning you, enabling you to recognise not just what you’re feeling, but also why it is you are feeling this way. From here, we can work together to improve your communication as a couple, and to resolve disagreements in a positive way.

Online therapy

I offer telephone counselling which can take place via phone call or WhatsApp voice call. I can also offer video counselling using WhatsApp video calls.
