I have acquired more than ten years experience working in social care; providing family support and therapeutic interventions to adults, parents and families.

My initial career was within theatre working as a director and a performer. As well as delivering professional theatre workshops, I also taught drama in further education. My work within theatre and education has enabled me to develop skills in enhancing and supporting the creative potential of others.

Following my work in theatre, I spent a number of years deputy managing an adventure playground for children with special needs. This provided many wonderful moments for me to get in touch with the human capacity to embrace spontaneity, pursue joy and to be free. My experience in adventure playgrounds allows me confidence to provide a free and creative space for my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.

Alongside my career as a therapist, I work in the voluntary sector as a Group Leader on a therapeutic group programme for couples experiencing relationship problems. I am a Clinical Supervisor for the Parents as Partners Programme (Tavistock Relationships).
