Relationship Counselling Banstead - Sutton
Couples therapy typically involves both partners attending sessions together, but there may also be individual sessions as needed. Here is what I do in Systematic Family/couple Therapy:
Identify and Understand Family Dynamics, Assess and Address Interpersonal Relationships, Identify and Address Underlying Issues, Change Negative Patterns, Improving Intimacy and Sexuality, Rebuilding Trust, Improve Communication, Promote Problem-Solving, Strengthen Family Support and Enhancing Relationship Satisfaction.
Treatment Plans: I develop tailored treatment plans to address each family or couple's specific needs and goals. These plans often involve short-term and long-term goals for addressing and resolving the issues at hand.
I use the principles of:
- Metacognitive Therapy (MCT)
- Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)
- Motivational Interviewing for Addiction
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- and CBT as my integrative approach to helping individuals and couples solve their issues and the symptoms of various mental health conditions, primarily ADHD, PTSD, Trauma, depression, anxiety disorders and substance use disorder (SUD).
I accept different insurance.
If you would like to know more or book an appointment, please send me a message.
