Introduction

I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, and a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist, based in the Eden Valley, Cumbria. I work with empathy and compassion to guide you towards your therapeutic goals.

I began my studies at Northern Guild and trained in Transactional Analysis. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and a member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.

Transactional Analysis is a modality of therapy which examines a person’s relationships and interactions with the purpose of establishing and reinforcing the idea that each individual is valuable and has the capacity for positive change and personal growth. I use TA, along with some CBT, Person Centred and other approaches, as an Integrative and Pluralistic Counsellor.

TA helps me to support clients with a range of presenting issues from anxiety and depression, to family or relationship difficulties, low self esteem and much more.

I am currently working towards a specialism as a Psychosexual and Relationship Counsellor and am able to work with a range of sexual dysfunction and relationship issues alongside my TA work. These may present as issues such as erectile dysfunction, low desire, orgasm problems, pain with penetration, historical sexual trauma, relationship conflict, infidelity, relationship structures, gender dysphoria and more.

I work with adults aged 18 and over, offering both short and long term work to achieve your therapeutic goals, from my home in the Eden Valley, Cumbria.

I offer sessions in person, by telephone or online, with appointments offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

We always begin with an assessment session, and I also offer a free introductory 10 minute call.
